Weyerhaeuser Pickleball Courts

Weyerhaeuser Pickleball Courts
In partnership with the Weyerhaeuser Area Community Club, Inc., starting in 2022, Source Energy Services will be providing $10,000 over five years to support the Weyerhaeuser Pickleball Courts.
The Weyerhaeuser Area Community Club and their partners have rehabilitated and converted two tennis courts at the Community Park in Weyerhaeuser into six lighted pickleball courts. As Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US, the courts are helping to make the community more attractive, bring more visitors into the area to enjoy the park and patronize local businesses, as well as give people the opportunity to partake in the sport.

The Unlocking Potential (UP) Foundation

The Unlocking Potential (UP) Foundation
In 2022 and 2023 Source Energy Services was a sponsor of the UP Foundation’s UP & Away Gala, which raised funds for the Foundation’s programs and services.
In 2021 the Calgary Source Energy Services Team also participated in the Calgary Marathon’s Charity Challenge and raised funds for the Unlocking Potential Foundation (UP Foundation). In total $12,570 was raised by Team Source Energy Services, which went to support the UP Foundation’s Never Too Late program.
The Never Too Late program provides no-cost academic, social and emotional support to adult learners who want to complete their GED (General Education Development or high school equivalency). Learning occurs in community with a cohort of students who share the same dream: to become a high school graduate.
Fox Creek School

Fox Creek School
In 2024, Source Energy Services donated funds to help replace the jointer in the school's shop.
In 2022, we donated the funds to help Fox Creek School purchase a new planer for their Industrial Arts program.
The shop is now able to help students from grades 4 to 12 complete woodworking projects in a safer manner, while keeping the wood and materials costs down
The new jointer is helping students learn on equipment that is more representative of what they will encounter in shops and post-secondary institutions. The new planer allows the school to be more sustainable as they can now re-use wood and use wood that is not perfect.
Talk to Me Society

Talk to Me Society
Source Energy Services is a proud sponsor of the Talk to Me Society in Wembley’s Annual Golf Tournament and their Talk To Me Color Walk/Run.

The monies raised by this event go back into the community. First, by funding two scholarships to the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta that the society has created, and second, by giving any extra funds to Youth Mental Health programs like AHS, Suicide Prevention, Men's Shed, and the EMS Foundation. Source also sponsored the organization's Talk To Me Color Walk/Run event in 2024 and 2022.
